Can someone explain how hashtag searching works on MD and the #fediverse ? When I search, is it searching, in real time, all posts with that tag? Or is it only pinned/boosted/whatever posts? Is there a delay? Thanks!

@ryan it probably works how you’d expect it to: you search for a hashtag and your server asks all the servers it federates with if they have any posts with that hashtag
A search will always search through any posts you’ve interacted with (boost, favorite, etc)
